Quantropi · Positioning & GTM

Turning Frontier Tech Into Launches That Win Deals

I activated 5 product launches across Enterprise, Defence, and IoT — and turned sharper, leadership-grade positioning into an 8-point win-rate jump (14% → 22%) and 5 net-new defence customers won post-launch.

The stakes

Deep-tech companies often have brilliant products and no narrative. When the story lives only in the engineering team's heads, launches stall, sales guesses at the pitch, and prospects can't tell why they should care. At Quantropi, the gap between "what we built" and "why a buyer should act" — especially against entrenched competitors in IoT and Embedded — was the single biggest thing standing between the product and revenue.

My mandate

Own positioning and messaging, run go-to-market for product launches across multiple industries, and equip sales with enablement that closes the gap between a highly technical product and a buyer's business problem.

What I did

I built repeatable launch playbooks so releases across Enterprise, Defence, and IoT followed a consistent motion instead of a scramble. In IoT and Embedded, I repositioned the products around market leadership and competitive authority-led messaging — reframing the category on our terms rather than competing feature-for-feature. For the defence launches, I produced the collateral sales actually reaches for — one-pagers and pitch decks — grounded in competitive analysis and buyer research. Throughout, I worked cross-functionally with product, sales, and operations to keep the story consistent from website to first call to closed deal.

The payoff

  • 5 product launches activated across Enterprise, Defence, and IoT
  • Win rate lifted from 14% to 22% (+8 pts) in IoT and Embedded via market-leadership positioning and competitive authority-led messaging
  • 5 net-new defence customers won post-launch, driven by improved launch collateral (one-pagers, pitch decks)
  • A repeatable launch playbook and investor-grade sales enablement library

Why this matters to you

Great products don't sell themselves — clear stories do. I make complex products make sense to the people who buy them, reposition to win against entrenched competitors, and give your sales team the words and materials to close. If your positioning is fuzzy or your launches feel improvised, I fix that.
